Texas 9-1-1 Alliance
Who are we?
The Texas 9-1-1 Alliance had its beginning in 1991 when the directors of the 24 Emergency Communications Districts in Texas began meeting to discuss common issues. Since that humble beginning, the directors have accomplished many tasks. The most notable of those is the formation of the CRT (Cost Recovery Team). The CRT has successfully negotiated Wireless Phase II contracts will all the Texas major carriers at a fraction of the cost of each district negotiating separately. The Texas 9-1-1 Alliance continues to be the leading edge of 9-1-1 technology and management in Texas.
